Step 3: Select Filing Status
- Choose your tax filing status:
- Single – for individual taxpayers.
- Married – for married filing jointly.
Filing status may affect federal and state tax rates in some calculations.
Step 4: Enter Federal Withholding (Optional)
- Enter your federal tax withholding rate in percent if you know it.
